South Korea said Wednesday it will dispatch 30 more rescue workers and medics to Nepal later this week, with the death toll of a 7.8 magnitude earthquake there having exceeded 5,000. The first group of 10 members from the Korea Disaster Response Team arrived in Nepal Tuesday and immediately began operations.
