Firing up the engine and fascinating the young and old for some this was the golden age of travel. "The trains are always on time" And from first to second class sleeping to dining there’s a chance to try it all as it used to be. "I love the nostalgia, we're about to have a high tea" "Made the city so much smaller before trams and trains to get around you either had to be rich or you walked” And It’s not just trains there’s heritage buses and steamboats ferrying passengers around the city this weekend is a chance for thousands of people to experience bus and train travel from a different era. One where tickets cost a fraction of the price, they are now and warnings about the yellow line didn’t exist. "Okay everyone stand behind the yellow line please" The exhibition runs until tomorrow night
