The Albanese government says its housing policy does not include scaling back negative gearing and capital gains tax concessions -- despite reports it's exploring the options. Nine newspapers are quoting a senior Labor official - saying the government has asked treasury for expert advice on the potential changes. Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says the government needs to be upfront with the public.
