Flood watches in place for areas close to the Western Australia and Northern Territory border

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting unseasonable rain to continue across parts of the Northern Territory for at least a few more days. Flood watches remain for the Tanami desert and the western desert district as well as sturt creek, which flows through Western Australia and the Northern Territory. There are fears continued heavy rainfall will impact remote roads.
