The State Opposition said the WA Government should stop accepting donations from the WA branch of the CFMEU, while the union remains under a cloud of controversy nationally. The WA-branch of the beleaguered union donated $25,000 to the State Labor party. But the government brushed off calls from the WA Liberal leader to cut ties with the union.
