Surfer arrives at Elliston Hospital with shark attack bite to leg after off Eyre Peninsula coast

A man has suffered an injury from a shark bite off South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. The 64-year-old man presented to the Elliston Hospital on Tuesday afternoon with a bite to his leg, SA Ambulance said. Surf website, Swell-net, reported the surfer was attacked about 200 metres offshore at Blacks in Elliston and made his own way back to shore. The Elliston local was in a stable condition and will be flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
