Flood warning in place for the town of Kowanyama

The weather system from ex-tropical cyclone Jasper is continuing to cause issues. The "main concern" now is around Kowanyama, a small community on Cape York Peninsula. An alert has been sent to residents to prepare for possible widespread flooding which is expected to hit as early as Christmas Eve.
