The Brisbane RNA showgrounds could be turned into a 20-thousand seat stadium, to host AFL and cricket while the Gabba undergoes a 2032 Olympics revamp. The state government says it will "stump up" only one third of the 137-million-dollar cost. Sparking a war of words with the lord mayor.
