Researchers worried about impact of Antarctic research funding issues

Scientists are warning that Australia's reputation as a leader in Antarctic research has been damaged by ongoing funding issues. The Senate is currently holding an inquiry into the Australian Antarctic division's budget issues. Senior lecturer at the Institute of Marine and Antarctic studies, Doctor Stuart Corney, says 56 projects were cancelled or postponed this year.
