Pod of orcas spotted off the NSW Far South Coast

Whale watchers on the New South Wales far south coast have been treated to a rare, close-up encounter with a pod of eight killer whales. The orcas swam into the bay at Merimbula breaching above the surface and appearing to be feeding with flocks of seagulls following their every move.
