McLachlan drops defamation case

Actor Craig McLachlan has dropped his defamation case against the ABC, Nine Newspapers and actor Christie Whelan Brown. The move came on on the day the defence case was set to be begin. Ms Whelan Browne said she was pleased the case had been withdrawn. She said it would serve as a reminder that woman would stand up for themselves, even when threatened by someone more powerful.
