The Korea Herald starts 5-day publication schedule

The Korea Herald, the nation’s No.1 English-language newspaper, will implement a five-day publication schedule starting this week.

We made the decision in consideration of the new law on the maximum workweek of 52 hours and our commitment to providing more and diverse online content services.

Under the five-day publication schedule, we will stop publishing the edition for Saturdays. Instead, pages for the Friday edition will be increased to include more interesting and diverse content for The Weekender. 주 5일 발행을 시작합니다

65년 전통의 국내 최대 영자신문인 코리아헤럴드가 52시간 근무제 도입 등 급변하는 신문제작 환경에 맞춰 이번 주부터 주 5일 발행 시대를 엽니다.

이에 따라 매주 토요일자 발행을 중단합니다. 대신 주중에 좀 더 다양한 읽을거리를 제공하고, 비디오 및 소셜미디어 콘텐츠 서비스를 강화할 예정입니다. 특히 금요일자 신문에 기존 위크엔더를 증면하여 주말을 앞둔 독자 분들께 라이프스타일, 여행, 음식, 영화등 보다 흥미로운 콘텐츠를 더 많이 제공할 계획입니다.
