A car plowed into a shop on a busy shopping street near Gangnam Station in southern Seoul on Wednesday.
It smashed into a storefront, injuring six people, including one who was severely injured, according to local fire authorities.

The 57-year-old driver of the car, surnamed Jang, reportedly did not suffer any injury. Jang told police the cause of the accident was a sudden unintended acceleration of her car.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash based on testimony from Jang, who was driving on her own at the time.
