Actor Lee Jong-suk has signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment, the agency announced Tuesday.
Lee started his own agency earlier this year after leaving his previous agency Wellmade Yedang in December. Lee decided to join the agency for more systematic support to his acting career, said the agency.
Lee adds to YG Entertainment’s impressive assembly of actors, including A-list actors Gang Dong-won and Cha Seung-won as well as actress Kim Hee-ae.

Lee debuted as a model in 2005 and began his acting career in 2009, starring in short films and music videos. Lee is best known for his leading roles in TV drama series KBS’ “School 2013” (2012), SBS’ “I Can Hear Your Voice” (2013), “Doctor Stranger” (2014) and “Pinocchio” (2014).
He recently finished filming the TV drama “Jade Lover,” a Korea-China joint production which will begin its broadcast on Anhui TV on Aug. 25.
Meanwhile, Lee will also star in the upcoming MBC drama series “W,” which will start airing on July 20.
