Despite being the target of a number of nasty online rumors, new K-pop girl group Lovelyz has made its debut official with the release of its first album, “Girls’ Invasion.”

Looking to bounce back after malicious online rumors about group member Seo Ji-soo led her to suspend her debut with the eight-member group, Lovelyz finally unveiled its entire nine-track debut album on Monday, including the official music video for the girls’ lead single “Candy Jelly Love.”

Earlier this month, a netizen posted comments online claiming that Seo was not only a homosexual, but that she had been abusive toward her former partners, casting a huge shadow on the girl group just prior to its debut.

It still remains to be seen whether Seo will continue to be a member of Lovelyz, as officials from the ladies’ agency, Woollim Entertainment, previously stated that they were unsure when she would return to the group.
