일본 그리스 전 전범기 등장 해설자들 강력 비난

20일 오전 7시(한국시간) 브라질 나타우의 두나스 경기장에서 2014 브라질월드컵 C조 조별리그 2차전 일본 대 그리스 경기 0대0 무승부로 마무리된 가운데 이날 일본 응원단은 얼굴에 욱일승천기를 그리고 응원에 나섰다.

이를 본 국내 해설진들은 분노했다.

배성재 SBS 캐스터는 "전범기를 얼굴에 그리고 있다. 축구티켓 값이 아깝다"며 "유럽에서는 욱일승천기에 대한 이해도가 부족한 부분도 있기 때문에 FIFA에서 완벽한 제재를 가하지 않지만 사실 아시아에서는 나치문양이나 다름없다"고 비난했다.

이어 그는 "이런 것들은 축구장에서 퇴출되어야한다"고 강조했다.

또 조우종 KBS 캐스터도 전범기를 그려넣은 일본 팬을 향해 "아 이게 뭔가요"라며 황당함을 감추지 못했다. 이영표 해설위원 역시 동감했다.

한편, 동북아시아 국가들은 일본 제국주의와 군국주의의 상징인 욱일기의 게양이나 노출을 철저히 금지하고 있다.

그러나 오늘날 일본 극우파 인사들은 욱일기를 들고 시위를 하고, 스포츠 경기에서 일본 응원단도 일장기 대신 욱일기를 자주 사용하고 있어 논란이 되고 있다.

일본 그리스 전에 등장한 전범기에 누리꾼들은 "일본 그리스 결과, 전범기 미친거 같아", "일본 그리스 결과, 전범기는 또 뭐지?", "일본 그리스 결과, 전범기로 우리를 자극하네" 등의 반응을 보였다.
