Compared to existing Solus tires best known for offering comfortable driving, Kumho says the new product makes less noise, and has slower tread wear and better driving performance.
A total of 39 types, ranging from 14 to 18 inches, will be available to fit for cars in all segments.
The tire maker also hopes the new product will be helpful to expanding its presence in overseas markets.
According to Kumho Tires, the Solus TA31 has already been supplied for the all-new Chrysler 200, a midsize luxury sedan. The cars are being produced in Michigan, and will go on sale around the world in the coming months.
Its Korean debut is expected to be made at the end of this year.
