Police suspend search for missing Wagga man due to flood conditions

Evacuation warnings remain in place for parts of Wagga Wagga in the NSW Riverina, as flooding from the Murrumbidgee River continues to impact residents. Police have suspended a search for 63-year-old Hillston man Phillip Alvaro due to weather conditions. Mr Alvaro was last seen on Tuesday, and a search operation was launched on Wednesday after he failed to return to his property on the Lachlan Valley.
