Young figure skating hopeful Park So-youn failed to make the podium at the ongoing Winter Youth Olympics.

The 15-year-old received a total score of 130.60 points Tuesday to finish 4th in the ladies’ single event in Innsbruck, Austria.

“I made many mistakes,” Park said after her performance.

Park, who is considered a possible successor to 2010 Olympic gold medalist Kim Yu-na, fell after a jump in the beginning of her routine, and missed several jumps to receive a rather disappointing 88.23 points in her free skate.

Meanwhile, Russia showed its dominance by winning two medals in the event.

Elizaveta Tuktamisheva earned the highest score in the free skate to finish with 173.10 points, edging out fellow countrywoman Adelina Sotnikova with 159.08 points. China’s Zijun Li finished third with 157.70. Park said she was disappointed with her performance Tuesday.

“I realized I need to work hard in practice, and not make mistakes in jumps,” Park said.

Korea sent 40 athletes, including Park, to the inaugural Winter Youth Olympic Games, which run until Jan. 22.
